Online ticketing in Belgium: how to choose
Four questions decide the choice, and price is only the last of them. Here they are, and how we answer.
Free for free events. No subscription.
Who collects the money from your sales?
This is the question that changes everything, and almost nobody asks it. Many platforms collect on your behalf and pay out after the event: you front the caterer and the printer from your own cash. With us, payments land in your organisation's account on the day of the sale. In return, transaction fees are taken from you directly — we do not hide them inside an all-in commission.
Bancontact and Payconiq, or cards only?
In Belgium, a buyer offered only a bank card walks away. Bancontact and Payconiq are not exotic options here, they are the country's payment methods. A platform designed elsewhere sometimes bolts them on last, badly, or not at all: check before you sign, not after your first event.
A Belgian invoice, and someone who answers in your language
Your accountant wants an invoice with Belgian VAT and a company number, not a document from elsewhere that needs explaining. And on a Saturday morning, when a dinner's ticket shop will not open, someone has to answer — in French or Dutch, not an English form with a two-day wait. We invoice from Belgium and our support addresses are per country.
Frequently asked questions
What about the price, then?
It comes last because it compares badly: an all-in commission and a commission with transaction fees on top do not belong on the same line. Do the maths on YOUR ticket price and YOUR volume, bank fees included on both sides. Our comparison page does exactly that, including the case where we lose.
Is there a contract or commitment?
No. No subscription, no setup fee, nothing to pay on a free event. You create your ticket shop, you sell, and we take our share on paid tickets. If it does not suit you, you leave owing nothing.
